Attacks on broadband networks are rising at an alarming rate. Between June 2024 and June 2025, more than 15,540 incidents disrupted service for 9.5+ million Americans.
These crimes strike at the systems that power our daily lives—911 centers, schools, airports, and hospitals. Each attack disrupts communities and puts public safety at risk. In the last six months alone, these attacks cost Americans an estimated $188 million in damages.
We need stronger protections, tougher enforcement, and coordinated action across every level of government.
